Federal Government satisfied with 13% mortgage modification rate

If this doesn’t convince a distressed homeowner they need a U, S. national attorney to get their mortgage modified, there is no hope of a realistic view of the current mortgage situation. The reader will also notice below that lenders are more than willing to let foreclosure proceeding continue will mortgage modification negotiations continue.

Federal Government on track to get 13% of eligible mortgages modified by November

The federal government also estimates that 4 million homes need their mortgages modified. 500,000 divided by 4 million equals 13%.

Be realistic but aggressive with the asking price. Lenders are taking months to respond to an offer on a property. It should be every seller’s goal to have a contract within the first 90 days
